Ever since I got the 7th gen Celi I dont post too much here anymore but of course I still troll around to see whats goin on with everybody. Just passed the one year anniversary mark with the new celi and the first year was a good one...almost. I had a mishap where my timing chain jumped and spun a few rod bearings and bent some valves...the whole works lol but luckily I got it fixed under warranty. Now she is sittin in my garage for the winter and recently I finally got some time to install some parts.

Need to get the kit painted as soon as it warms up here in PA. A new sound system is in the works too along with some performance upgrades(PFC and hopefully the new Race Manifold :wiggle: )

Thats exactly why i chose it. The lambo doors were pushin it for me but for 100 dollars i couldnt resist them lol

Yay for another 7th genner! Auto/manual? Miles?

Not a fan of lambo doors, but to each his own. Keep up the good work.

BTW, I've got 110000 miles on my 2ZZ as of today!

Its a 6 speed for sure. I wouldnt go anyother way. Had 72000 when the motor went, the new motor is right at 48000. And like I said lambo doors were only 100 dollars and its a vertical doors kit. I couldnt resist lol.

How much did you pay for that kit? (minus the doors) And where did you get it? I love it!

And yall are a bunch of amateurs. my 00 has well over 162,000 on her original engine. Still running strong as balls too. P.O. took AMAZING care of 'er. (Well... cept for the front bumper, but that's getting replaced eventually, hence why I'm askin about that kit...)

If your not already a member of newcelica.org you should go join. A bought the kit from a member named Jintei who sells replica kits of a lot of the popular kits for the 7th gen. It was around $700. Fitment wasnt perfect but if you have some bodywork/fiberglass knowledge its not a hard fix.

Way to go on the 6-speed partyball... I couldn't fathom driving the GT-S as an auto.

Mcelica, you need to join the TRD Elegant kit club with me!

Also, what is your average mileage per tank of gas? Mine is slowly dropping... I get nearly 340 miles per 13 gallons.

I've been contemplating joining newcelica.org. Only thing that's stopping me at the moment is I can't even remember all the passwords I have already! Lol

Hyoctane: I have absolutely no idea. I've never calculated it. It's in need of a tune cause I can smell it running a bit rich, but it still gets retardedly good mileage. I usually fill up 2 times a month. Once prior to drill (Which, there and back is 156 miles plus all the driving I do around there. IE: From the hotel to the unit, back, to the girlies, back. To wherever we go, back Etc) and I still have plenty left. Once I get back from there I drive to the last bar, fill up, and never make it back down to a quarter by the next months drill.

Could probably use a tune up. My old engine was getting in the low to mid 400s. I havent driven on the new engine yet. When I got over 400 that was with absolutely no fast driving though. Mostly cruising at about 60-65 to work and to school.
