With a 1994 Celica ST.

I talked to the people who had it, and they said it was a GT in the ad.

When we met him to look at it, I popped the hood, and there sets a 7afe.

In the ad, he said it needed a transmission. In 3rd gear, it does absolutely nothing, and going into 4th, it grinds, and once its in, it whines.

It has 190k miles, but it runs perfect. They just had the timing belt and a tune up done at the Toyota dealership. It has all 4 new tires, a new pioneer head unit, and a recent paint job.

It was originally red, but they had it painted black. They didnt paint the door jambs or under the hood at all, but it looks decent.

There are a couple of minor, fixable dents behind the passenger door.

No rust on it at all.

It is a hatch and it has the GT spoiler on it.

:burn:

I think it was a great deal, other than the couple of dents and the transmission, it is in great shape. The interior is mint, no tears or anything.

I just babied it home from Indianapolis(130 miles) to my house, using 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th.

I will get pics up as soon as I can.

Tony, would the 20V bolt right up to the block?

Here are some pics I took with my phone...

I am planning on getting the GT-4 side skirts, spoiler riser blocks, rear lip, and front lip, and then doing all the body work and painting it metallic black.

Looks like a decent buy. Instead of making it look like a 205 how about you just do a 3s swap into the gt since you wont have to daily it anymore.

Fail.................if you ever talk yourself into putting a 3s in there you will never regret it, however you may regret not doing it sooner.

Well, the thing is, this is going to be my dads and my project car..

I dont have the money or time to do a 3s swap right now, and we talked about it, and want to focus on this right now.

And yes, the 6th gen st's came in coupe, or hatchback form.

I was quite surprised at how well optioned this st is. It has power everything, and ac, and it all works!! It even has CC.

I'm against everyone and their 3s swap ideas. I think you should part it out, and give me the tranny for freee:wiggle:

just kidding man, congrats on the 6th gen, looks like a fun project!!!

Its not too bad. I mean, there are a couple of minor dents and the paint job the previous owner did wasnt that great, but it will be a fun car.

And turner, you never call me, so why would I call you?? :hehe:

Andy- of course I love my phone, joo are teh shit!!!!!!

My dad is really interested in the idea of a 20V or a 7age hybrid, so I am thinking that is in the works as well...

Thanks man! Now, I think you should give me your hood.. :)

JK.

But anyway, this week I am going to start working one it..

My plans are to do the mechanical work like a tune-up, transmission, and some suspension stuff while its cold out, and then when it starts to warm up, I am going to do the body work.
