Yep, one of a kind hood. AFAIK, he took a ST185 RC hood, cut the shell, and added it to his stock hood.

I am the only Aeroform dealer in existence. You can get the kit from them or you can get the kit from me for less. :bigthumbu

I'm filing a monopoly claim against you. :sneak:

Well since I'm not the ONLY source......I guess you'll have to file an oligopoly claim instead :sneak: :thumbsdow

The hood is a common custom piece. I have seen it done on a handful of cars.

As for the kit, I know of two cars that have it. Gina has it on her `vert, I have seen it in person. It is nice. Mafix has it on his ST162, in a highly customized and molded form.

If you browse the `07 Dragon Picture Thread (http://www.celicatech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25758), you will see pics of Gina's car

There's probably a lot you don't know about me. :sneak: I am a dealer for all kinds of shit. Check out my avatar; That's my company (shameless plug). I'd be a vendor here, but I don't have a site to direct anyone to.....that's been a big problem for 5 minths in the making. It'd conduct business at www.Celica-Alltrac.com, but if you go there you'll see it's not even hosted.

That white kit looks to me like the old SSV kit. I think you can still get it if you know someone in Europe that'll ship it.

that pic of the white car has the erebuni wrc vent molded into the hood. if you see the real 185rc hood skin on the 4th gen hood frame (on esracing's white 165) you can tell the difference.

i have that erebuni wrc vent and im going to do the same to a spare hood i have.

My Alltrac/ST215 swap is going to need a hood modification for the TMIC. But I'm going to use a more conventional scoop rather than the RC's mesh covered hole.

what would an aeroform kit run ballpark estimate?

Ballpark is $665 for the whole thing. Wher I run into problems is that I am required to buy 2 at a time. Not too big an obstacle, but kinda a hassle tracking someone else down that needs an Aeroform kit.

Interestingly, I did discuss buying the molds from them at some point. They are down to only selling 2 kits per year, so it is likely that they'll discard that stuff in the not too distant future.

Mafix, I can't picture your 185 scoop although I'm sure I've seen it. I'm sure it'll look similar. However, I do think that my scoop will need to have the same kind of angles that the 4th Gen has built into her appearance. Something as curvy as an exact replica of the 185 scoop would be too curvy for my 4th Gen.
