So one of my work buddies has a 3SGE from a MR2 with I think what he said was a cracked block, but its got everything on it even a new clutch and he wants $100 for it, is it worth it? ;)

What are you trying to do with it? A cracked block *is* salvageable but I wouldn't recommend it.

I'd say for $100 with a cracked block? If you sell parts off it it will probably be wroth while, but it depends on what you plan to do with it

Yeah I thought maybe just buy it and part it out.. but honestly I don't know what I would want todo :)

Yeah... definitely worth it.

Use your 5s block and crank and make a true 3sge stroker.

I don't think the 3s-ge came in the canadian MK2s.

I at first assumed Jspec import.. but.. the pic looks like LHD, unless I'm viewin' it wrong.

He's right. It didn't. It's either an import or swap. And as far as imports go it could've come from a LHD Euro country. Depending on what state you reside in you could get either LHD or RHD. Some places, like Germany, got both; don't ask me why.....dunno that.

Yeah sorry, its probably a swap.. I'll have to ask about it the next time I see him.
