I wouldn't have gone 10000K. They look good but your not going to see well with them. I would have gone 8000K so you could have more white with some blue. But, hey, welcome to the HID club!

5000k gives you the whitest light. 6000k give you the OEM HID look, still lots of white light. 10000k is hard to use - especially as more time goes by. I agree with Extremeskillz, its hard to see very well with them.

thats awesome, did yours come with a relay kit? I dont see one. I just picked up an HID kit off a friend but not sure when I'll get around to installing it.

no i had no relay or something like that..it was just plug-and-play

about the visibility, i got a nice clear white/blue view..so much better then the standard ones.

Looks great!! I'd get them. Keep us posted on how that brand of lights holds up. And how much did they cost?

HID's are one of the best upgrades that I have done for my ZZT231 -- I'm glad I went with a 4,300K though, amazingly bright without the obnoxious fake blue tint.

Welcome to the HID club.

I've had nothing but good thoughts about the kit I got from xenondepot.com -- and they replaced one of my ballasts without a complaint after 8 months of use.

now i've never seen a hid kit installed. when looking at these kits i see the new bulbs and the wiring equipt. but i am confused what the new bulbs go in. i have a 92 ST and the bulbs i currently have are sealed. with these types of bulbs i dont get if the is a new bulb container that is needed to be purchased or if you take the old sealed bulb out and modify it to fit the new hid kit. if there is a detailed writeup i missed please point it out. if not please explain the little part of HID's im missing

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving David

Hey David. :)

You will need to purchase new housings that will accept the new bulb type. Then you are free to use any of these HID kits.
Many of our members like the Autopal housings and the Hella housings for these applications.
I hope this helps you some.

just another note to what shadow said, the type of housing is H4. I bought autopals for mine off an e-bay store, they have a much better beam pattern.

One lense came broken, but the guy willingly replaced it so I was pleased
