View Full Version : Hi there people, another newbie from across the pond

Well as you may have gathered from my username, my names Paul and i'm a proud owner of a GT4. I've had three over the years, from an ST185 ATA, ST185 Carlos Sainz and my newest conquest the ST205 WRC, just made you North Americans jealous with that last car eh. I'm a staff member of the gt4ec (www.gt4ec.net). I'm from Derry Northern Ireland, its a cold wet and windy place but it has the best rallying roads the globe has to offer so its not all bad i guess.

Here's a few pics of my Carlos Sainz that was recently sold to a new owner.

And now for my new toy that i have 5 months and since buying it i've only had the first ten days of driving it back in June, since then its been sent away as 530bhp wasn't enough, its getting rebuilt and will be producing over 600bhp this saturday (15th Nov) when i go to collect it from Momentum Motorsport in Lisburn

The engine will have some serious changes when it comes back from the above pics, also the interior will have a good going over hopefully before christmas.

Welcome to Celica Tech! :)

Nice vehicles my friend. I would love for you to post specs of your build on this as well as a parts list. It's a very clean example and I'm very interested to know more. :D

when i get the car back on saturday i'll put a parts and labour listing up of what momentum motorsport used for the rebuild. I'll also list the original spec (530bhp) and show where everything was changed. The car is far from finished as i'm going to plan and get more power from it next year. The car would have been finished before now but i couldn't source oversize valves anywhere in Europe, i had to get them from over there in the states and they arrived on Friday but everyone loves Mr Customs man, he only released them this morning, so the head was sent away for the second time of this build to get the valves seated. So all being well, I'll have it saturday morning to begin my run in.

This is the photobucket file of the car.

There is pics in there as it sits now (but hopefully tomorrow the engine will be built back in).
Other pics with my womans car the Ford Puma in ST Focus Orange.
Some of the old trophies its won at past events.
I'll source the pics too of the suspension change when it was changed back to Macherson using an ST202 subframe (same as the real Group A WRC Car)

yeah there is a few knoking about on there when it was owned by Paul Bartolo. There is ones when it was on the rollers and doing a few 1/4milers at crail. The car at those times was pushing out over 400bhp, but since then its had alot more work done and again as stated above its in for more work to take it in excess of 600bhp.
