I am not exactly sure but I think it was a jdm supra that it came out of, he got it from jarco

Old Supras and Soarers over in Japan. I think Chaser, too. but I'm not real sure about that one..........or even the Soarer for that matter. I think those are popping into my mind from some distant recollection. But def the Supra.

the 2jz is longer and would have been harder to fit

looks very nice. Not a big fan of all the paint and decals, but its very impressive.

2nd gen supra JDM style yo, 2 plugs per cyl. 2.0 liter. super cool. excellent choice for the car. o and twin turbo! id love to have it, to much orange for me. sexxy though!

Yep, I've seen an AE86 with the 2jz and there were bumper fitment issues, looked really tight.

The Corolla looks like it is in great shape for all that has been done to it. Does it come with the shoe horn to get the engine in and out? And what about the sandbags in the trunk to keep the rear wheels sticking to the pavement? That would be a great car but a pain in the ass to find parts for. Hope your friend gets what he is looking for, and it doesn't go to some kid who will wreck it. Those cars are getting more and more rare, at least in FL.
