This 3SGTE (http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10629&catid=member&imageuser=7353) has me puzzled, listed as a ST205 cutout, it has the alternator and s/pump swapped as well as interesting intercooler pipes?

This auto box (http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10598&catid=member&imageuser=7353) was sold to me as a A140E Celica replacement but it's a lot heavier and has the transfer case cover plate, the selector faces downwards and there is an external oil feed pipe?

This 3SGE Type G (http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10467&catid=member&imageuser=7353) is lying at the jap imports shed?

Here's a carbed 4SFE (http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10629&goto=next&c=member&imageuser=7353) for those who haven't seen one.
Here's a carbed 3SFE (http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10628&goto=next&c=member&imageuser=7353) for those interested, I liked it for a fuel/hydrogen motor and add an injector rail for the hydrogen.
Here's a 2SE (http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10515&catid=member&imageuser=7353) carbed engine AT160 Celica from 1985.
Here's the Japanese spec (http://www.celicatech.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=10408&catid=member&imageuser=7353) ST162 sedan with it's Corona type front end.

The 3SGTE is from an MR2

Don't MR2's have electric p/steering pumps?

They do

How come this one has a belt s/pump on the front as well?

It doesn't. It just has an alternator in the back, and a A/C compressor in the front.

OK - A/C compressor is in the normal place, that must be a tensioner next to the thermostat.

Just been told the Type G motor is from a rare LTD ed RAV4, but not substantiated.

It seems that the gearbox is a A540E - from, you guessed it - a V6 Camry!
Now I can build that auto GT4.....
