I was wonering how big stock 5SFE injectors and fuel pumps are!

I'm considering buying some 295cc FI!

and I found several different size Fuel pumps, all the way from 130 l/h, to 280 l/h!

so wats the stock sizes!

and can suspension parts or parts in general for a st185 or st205 work on a st184!

st185 will but i dont think st205 will....im not sure on the sizes of those parts but remember...with more fuel you will need more air..

i wouldnt get a bigger fuel system unless you are planning to boost it. it would help it if you put that bigger t.b. on and ported and polished it, and then got a header, full exhaust, and your intake. possibly a set of cams....

well im plannin on gettin a header and redoin my intake system along with the p&p'd head and intake mani... and my exhaust is as big as i want it... 2.25 inch piping. all the way back

well i still wouldnt do anything like injectors and fuel pump because then it would more than likely run rich....

honestly, you should buy cams before worrying about introducing more a/f to the motor. cams will be your best bang for the buck. also, you can put a larger tb on the car and run your stock 215's/225's and still see the same results as you would with larger injectors. which is minimal at best. if you use a 295 injector then you will have to use an safc in order to pull fuel and be running stoich again. you're not going to be getting so much more introduction from a 60mm tb to need that much more fuel spray.

i'm not saying that you shouldn't upgrade the tb. just that upgrading injectors without significant mods is not necessary. a p&p isn't going to be enough. your going to have to get bigger cams in order to see a gain from a p&p.

i've been lookin at a head of a 3SGE also... and i find it alot easier to find parts for them...

the GE head is a direct bolt on to the 5SFE is it not?

and cam-ing it along with p&p job would work well i believe...

the 3sge head will fit the 5sfe block. you'll have modify a couple of water jackets so that the ones in the block align with those in the head. plus you'll need the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, tb, electronics, etc in order to make it work. i think there is still a write up on it around here.
