Not mad on the font, could be a bit shaper and squared off, but i like number 1 because its not too much...

ya you do have a good point about the font but i kinda didnt really browse the fonts before i chose, and i did the second to last because its just a nice plain black, but then i kinda decided i wanted more to it than just a solid color

How are you making these? out of what? Crisco made some but were a little shiny using overhead inkjet sheets.

I'm personally a fan of stock. Why not just do an led color conversion? They are still dimmable that way and you get the updated look without the "rice" (sorry)
I do appreciate your effort though. Very pretty. ;)

Waay tooo ricey for me, it's a 22 yr old car

I'd like std or white faces with red lighting....

Do you really need all the text? - X1000 RPM, 0-18V, E-F, MPH etc. I think they'd be much crisper without all the text

Nice job tho, I hope you're doing this on a spare set

They don't have anything better than the transparencies. I'm still going to try the backlight film Dups suggested to me when I get around to it.

You can see my thread here: http://www.celicatech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33866

There was a transparency that a friend of mine used when he did this for his VW Corrado. It has a slight matte finish to it. They came out very nicely withour any excessive "shine".

Questions:
How do you remove the old prints on the faces without scratching the plastic?
Have you tried printing them on matte white CD Labels and applying that?

There are clear matte vinyls you can apply later if it's still too glossy.
Printing white onto clear vinyl is always a problem.

and i also agree the text is a bit much. it's look much nicer if you toned it down a bit
