I am really surprised your the only one jumping on this. If it was a vented hood, I would have already bought one myself. Even if not 100% accurate, it would be good to use on race days.

Well, I've known about it for a while, but can't really spend any money on the car due to medical bills and event bills (Mayhem Fest, DragonCon, Anime Weekend Atlanta).

When is Anime weekend? I might have to come down.

Hood scoop is a separate piece and price from the hood.

Only thing that sucks is that the price is slightly misleading....

$149 for the hood.
$200 for shipping.

Still a good deal, but not as amazing as i was hoping. Still couldn't pass it up, need a new hood before the car goes in for paint anyways. :)

It's just hard to find an OEM style one that people are selling, i've found. I don't like the alltrac hood much, and the CF RC hood runs a mint. $350 shipped for a new one was good enough of a deal for me. And yes... you will have to pass. :hehe:

I'm more after the weight advantages, to be honest. This car is going on a diet. I'd like to see it at 2200lbs, probably not realistic considering it's a hatch, but it's something to shoot for.

HOLY CRAP!! 200 in shipping?? Are they having the CEO hand deliver that or something?

I'm going to call them out on that again before i send payment out.

I'll take my hood off in the parking lot at fedex or whatever and see what they say.

Because, it would ALMOST be cheaper for me to drive a 4-banger tacoma out there and get it myself.
