Engine is from a 1991 Celica GT-S (going into a 1986 Camry) what the hell do I use to get the head off. ITs got this wonky looking 12pt head on it.

I had somthing similar on a Corolla I used to have but these are bigger. On the Corolla I just used a worn 7/16 12pt socket but obviously that not going to work.

What do I need here?

You're talking about those big bolt things around the spark plug sockets, right?

I used a big pair of vice grips and beat the hell out of them, personally.

He means the head bolts, the valve cover nuts aren't 12 point.
For the record, those are 30mm.

Well, if it's got a 12 point head, I would assume you would use a 12 point socket.....................................
