Just looking through youtube and saw this video...

No idea how old the footage is (at least a year old), or exactly what car it is... ("corolla"? I've never seen a corolla like that)... But it appears to be a TRD works rally car. For WRC? I don't know, but it's pretty neat.

Australian Rally
"The TRD team is developing the 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated 3SGE engine for the new car.

Providing approximately 190kW of power and 240Nm of torque, the engine revs to a high limit of 8500rpm."

I like it. I reminds me of the Awd turbo rally corolla toyota was talking about before they bought the stakes in Subaru.

TTA Toyota Team Australia still runs a 4 door corolla w/ st205 bits. They made their own ACD and front LSD which they will sell to the general public for around 16k usd. Of course these parts put them in 1st place.

The 3SGE is a perfect platform for that 2000cc series... fine choice!

Neat thing I find is that rally series is under FIA regulations... wonder if that means a 3SGE rally corolla will find itself in any other FIA races... and eventually work itself back into WRC.

It's not WRC, it's JR WRC if I remember right. Or maybe Super 2000 class.
