So just kind of tossing this out, I know that valve issues can cause a cylinder to not have compression, but using oil that floods the PCV system would rule out valve issues right, or not?

Eh... Usually oil in the PCV system is oil blowing by the rings. So it makes it more likely that you have fried rings, which would also drop the compression, but I wouldn't say it rules out the valves definitively. It could just as easily be both.

Yeah well, rings are the suspect at the moment, it would just be nicer if it could be the valves. :hehe: It /shouldn't/ be the rings with the mileage, but then, it also sat for a couple years and had a couple other mistreatments, so who knows.
