right about now my camera died, which really sucked because i came within 30-40 from two BIG bull moose (which was odd since moose are normally solidary animals), a few deer, and a mother moose with her calf (which was on the trail about 20 feet from me).

This morning i actually woke up to ~2" of fresh snow

hope you guys enjoy these :)

*shrug* That's pretty much my backyard. :hehe:

But seriously, nice ones. The clouds have been hanging very low these last couple of days, even down here at the base. I've got some phone pics of Lookout with clouds around it, maybe I'll add them here if you don't mind.

Nice, Colorado is SO much better looking than Indiana, especially the flat part of Indiana.

And it isn't like Lookout is that huge, I think you were actually above most of the bad weather!

You guys need to invest in real cameras...not to be a jerk. They were cool pictures, but the quality is frustratingly annoying.

You've gotta realize mine were impromptu. Couldn't really leave work to go home and get the real camera! :)

Somebody else has a 35mm! I wouldn't mind going digital, but I'd need a Pentax DSLR to go with my lenses.

actually 24mm and 35mm

i've been wanting a fujifilm camera like a s1000 or s2000HD, but i haven't actually bought one. they aren't top of the line, but they have a good sized lens and a good optical zoom, which is all i could ask for with a point and shoot.

I kind've enjoy photography, that's why I have three lenses, and a Pentax with a dented prism housing (Tripod+210mm lens+leaning forward slightly=camera falls and hits counter :) ). My dad bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ-18, it has an 18x zoom, a manual focus setting, and all sorts of features I don't know how to use, because I refuse to read the book that is the manual. I don't have any experience with Fuji, but I've heard good things and people seem to like them. I don't care for Kodak that much because on the one we had the CCD went out, apparently you can't get that fixed so the camera is now a formerly $260 piece of trash.

yeah, i bought a kodak digital camera a year back or so and returned it a week later becuase of the quality and their stupid "easyshare" software. i already have irfanveiw and photoshop if i want to edit photos

the fujifilm s1000 is around $200, so thats why i haven't made a rash purchase of that yet :smokin:

Dunno about anyone else, but when I saw them pictures I got the sound of eagles screeching in my head. That's what the USA is all about to me. Good stuff man!
