last week i decided to rebuild my tranny in my gt.
it's been done allready about a year and a half ago but i broke the reverse when i got stuck off roading. lol.
i'll be going to toyota tomorrow to order some parts, hopefully they'll get here soon.

this is the reverse gear. it's pretty bad. lol.

this is the open tranny. 1-4 gears. the 5th had to come off in order to take the case off.

luckly i didn't have to pull the engine out, just had to lower it a little. it took around 3.5 hours to take it out and split it open.

Yeah, I've pulled the trans more than a few times... I think I can get one out in under 2 hours, in a sloped driveway, in the rain.

Oh wait, I have... *sigh* that sucked.

huh... wierd, I didn't have to take out 5th in order to get the case apart. I just reached in and unbolted the shift fork.
