Right now I have the charcoal gray interior, and i want to make it black. Would it be easier to just wrap everything in black leather/vinyl or can i paint it? And which would be more cost effective?

of course painting ıt would be more cost effective. it is a bit hassle removing all the pieces and wiring.. sanding. primering. painting. take your time and it will turn ot real nice.

All you do is clean it real good, make sure you use some rubbing alcohol or something to draw the oils from years of armorall or whatever you use to clean it, usually oil based, otherwise the paint will not stick, and it'll look like poopie.

Don't sand it, just grab a scotch-brite pad and go over it.
