Is there a performance head gasket, like a copper one or something available for the 4AFE engine? im replacing the head and thought now would be a good time to put in a better gasket.

thanks

I don't understand your desire for a 'performance' head gasket?

A head gasket is not going to give you 'performance' gains.

There are different materials for head gaskets, to decrease the odds of blowing due to high boost situations.

Head gaskets can also come in different thicknesses to increase or decrease compression ratios.

But in short, no there isn't really a 'performance' head gasket.

Any factory replacement head gasket should work just fine in your application.

i'm wondering how good would a cheap head gasket from ebay do.
seriously has anyone used a cheap head gasket from ebay? some of them come in a engine gasket/seal kit for 30bux and includes pretty much all that shit.

Eh....while you won't see any performance gains from a higher-end gasket, it's not something you really want to go cheap on either.

I ended up ordering a 7afe multilayer steel gasket...i dont want it to blow out in the future since ill be running a shot of nitrous and possibly boosting it soon.
