I bought an after market steering wheel with hud adaptor and i was wondering if someone could help me out on the removal of the stock steering wheel, like maybe list some tools needed and maybe give me some tips on how to not break anything lol.

thanks!

If you don't have one, you can rent a steering wheel puller from Autozone, free.
You will need a Torx driver to remove the airbag.
From the top of my head, it is T25.
Don't forget to disconnect the battery!

I think you correct about the Torx size. Thats what I remember using when I replaced my column combo switch and cruise stalks.

Remember that BEFORE YOU BEGIN, you must have the key in the "off" position, and the Negative battery terminal disconnected for at least 20 seconds. This is stated in the BGB, but it is imperative that you follow this part to the letter. Unless you're a fan of airbags exploding in your face. :ouch:
