is comming along nicely

i currently have my spare gt-s seats in, giving the truck a nice sporty feel on the inside, along with a gauge cluster from a 4cylinder 4 runner (now i have tach, oil pressure, voltage, trip odometer in addition to the speedo, and temp guage)

ive also got 99% of the bugs worked out of the engine so its running strong, along with a nice new air cleaner assembly and breather, although im going to find one of those fram air hog filters to replace the one that came with the air cleaner

more recent

if all goes as planned ill pick up a drop in bed liner (have one now but its for a nissan pu, and is 2 inches to tall) used tail gate(mines rusted to shit) and will redo the exaust from the cat back so i have duals

later on i plan to replace this front end

with parts from a 89-94 front end like on this 87

also im getting a set of 18s for free, and dunno what ima do with em, i may put em on the truck or sell em. (ill post a pic later)

i also want to get a webber carb, header, and high output coil, dunno if ill lower it or not yet

what do u think

That's coming along nicely.

Where's the air cleaner/filter from? Just a parts store?

Nice truck Joe. We put a Webber carb on our 22R truck and it made a huge difference... you will like it.

That front end looks like ass IMO.
color matched stock stuff looks good on them lowered things.
If you don't have to go through the emissions, go with the weber, if the current carb isn't working right or is all siezed up, etc.
if you're looking for economy... 32/36
if you want power.. 38/38 outlaw or 42 sidedrafts.... pain to tune though.
converting to EFI would be better yet...

jz if i were you id get a webber 32/36, the factory carb is far from any good for economy or performace :thumbsdow , get one from ebay

only reason i got the air cleaner was becase it was on sale 13.00 out the door, and i couldnt find a stock air intake

hope u got money for LC (http://lcengineering.com/)

rix, i plan to repaint my truck in silver, then use the same front as that guy did but with completely clear corner lights, and chrome front grill, bumper, and lower valence.
