how do we adjust clutch on the 3sgte.
it works just fine but when i hit over 5000 rpm it wont shift in to gears.
when i try to lounch. holding the clouth down and the gas pedal down the car rolls foreword in first gear. how do i adjust for that.

Year? If it's a hydraulic clutch, you've got a bad master, slave, or both.

could it be just air boobles in the fluid.

Look at the slave cylinder and have someone push the clutch in, see if it's getting good movement. If it's not try bleeding/flushing. If that doesn't work you might have a bad master and/or slave. I would replace both if they're old.

edit: Also another way of seeing if the slave is on its way out is just look at it. If there's fluid leaking obviously on the outside. Sometimes it might not be leaking but it's still going out, pull back the dust put the fluid might have accumulated in there. When the master fails it usually leaks inside the cabin.
