Okies sooo called back again today got the lady again...

Decided to not let her know it was me again soo played it all dumb this time, makin it seem like i knew nothing about All-tracs...and she asked me what my budget was b4 shed say the price...im like uhh 5-6? shes like ohh no no way to low... :thumbsdow

It was her husbands car, he past away 2 years ago..since then it really hasnt seen the road...it gets taken up n down the road couple times a year n back n forth the drive way ...they got it painted couple months b4 he died...he kept it in great shape, never been winter driver, gets put away for winters in the garage...she didnt want to sell but has no use for it, bad back cant drive stick

She said no problems, no leaks of any kind

she was readin off a sheet or somethin...didnt know about timing belt or nething like that

then i finally ask her how much and shes like oohh im looking between 7500-8000$ :lolhittin

Sooo i think im gunna have to show up to her house in ma Celi to look at it and show her how much i know about it n try and bring down the price some more :bigthumbu

Anyone know what wheels those are? I WANT!

07-01-2008, 10:53 PM
pretty clean alltrac, do it up haha

07-01-2008, 11:20 PM

07-02-2008, 01:14 AM
if it has no rust i would pay 7k for it. that is the main killer of alltracs. the high milage is also a concern but assuming stock boost is being run then its not much of a problem.

You gotta see the condition of the front sway bar mounts.....if they're rusted out.....pass, because you'll just need to have them custom fabbed and replaced eventually. Ask Jeremy (alltracman78) about his plight with the front swaybar mounts....

Skeet skeet skeet

07-03-2008, 10:21 PM
okies, yeah they didnt look to bad from wat i member...but its got black paint on most of the underside near the wheel wells n shit, soo its hard to tell, ill have to take another drive out there and drop in an offer.....gunna see how low i can get her..i still think 7500$ is a lil high seein how its been sittin for 3 years and past maintaince is supposidly good, but really unknown

Not great pic but forgot i took it when i went out last time

That underbody doesn't look great. Not bad enough to pass on, but bad enough to give it some heavy thought first.

07-04-2008, 12:12 AM
yeah ill have to somehow get myself totally under it, kinda hard thou seein how its about 25mins from the closest garage and cant drive it there haha

07-04-2008, 01:13 AM
id offer 7k just to test the waters...

07-04-2008, 04:03 PM
Yeah, I had my front sway bar mounts fabbed, PITA to find sombody with a lift willing to do it for less then I bought the car for.

07-04-2008, 05:00 PM
yeahh if theyre screwed, id have no chance of gettin them fabbed out haha noone around here would do somethin like that, and if they did it would be a huge hack job prolly

07-07-2008, 08:20 PM
It isn't that hard to fab them up, however, few shops are willing to touch something like that because they fear it will affect the structural integrity of the car.

07-07-2008, 09:20 PM
yeah, more ppl around town have found this car haha was at the local car meet yesterday n had like 4 ppl come up n say hey mann do i have a car for you...(its nice being the only celica guy in town pree much haha)...but the lady wont budge on her price, and frankly i think 7500$ is to much for that, ill try n call her again n stop by and explain why she should drop the price but well see...its slowly slippin away i think :(

07-08-2008, 03:21 AM
nice find. but def keep the under carriage in mind. thats looks like a lot of rust and needing a good undercoat job!

07-08-2008, 05:37 AM
Buy It!!!!!!
