I'm trying to make a graphic for a sticker of the Celica dragon, I have a decent size source graphic... of an embroidered version. I'm trying to clean it up and make it clean solid lines for the place I'm going to have my sticker printed up at.
I'm using Photoshop 7, any tips? I'm going to resize it, and start a separate layer, but beyond that, what tools should I use, etc...

You'll have the best luck using the pen tool and creating paths to fill in. Vector FTW!

I encourage you to try it yourself, but if you can't get it how you want let me know and I'll clean it up for you.

Well, I was trying to vector it, but I haven't done it in soooo long, I forgot most of it. I'm going for 2 foot tall, I can remove all but the white stitching easily.

Here's the source:

Nice, Blacked out your lights too huh? I did mine in red but had it sprayed with clear coat, looks like new lights! the red made it look flat, clear made a world of diff! (Professional clear not the canned stuff)
