Hi guys, here is the story:
Car ran great as usual. I drove over a speed bump and the car just shut off.
It cranks really good but no start.
There is fuel pressure.
I am looking for a coil, but cannot find one (no center wire in the distributor?), I need to know how to check for spark.
Given that car was running perfect before the bump, I have to assume something got disconnected, but where and what?
I suspect the crankshaft position sensor (where is the connector?)

I appreciate your replies with suggestions on what to check (and how to do it)

Thanks

Check the back clip on the distributor. The 2-pin one.

How's about the 4-pin on the front. (Probably obvious and i apologize.)

I checked the coil as per the instructions in the BGB. Resistance was 2 ohms, while specified value is 0.3 to 0.6 ohms. Bought a new coil, installed it and fired right up. The new coil primary resistance was 0.8 ohms.
Thanks for your help ciento44

Woot Woot! Figured it was dizzy somehow.... went out on my white car, had about the same symptoms. Coil had crawled all the way up the shaft and jammed it. Nifty-looking.
