Clearances are the same. There is nothing to compress, so there's no CR.

CR as usually ref. = Compression Ratio

I do not understand your post completely.

EDIT: Yes I would believe the cams would be the most different, actually in your favor.

What about compression ratio and valve clearence?

Yes? What about my post is confusing? The head alone isn't going to give you a compression ratio. Considering the OP's post was is regards to a 3sge and 3sgte head, I find his question confusing. Unless what he meant was cylinder head volume.

The difference between the two CR's of the two engines is primarily in the piston design, which has nothing to do with his original question.

I paid $300 for a JDM 1st gen 3SGTE head with cams.
