And I'm sorry to say it is NOT Ghost Chimpmunk's All-Trac. :( :( As much as i wanted if, i don't think a broke college student can afford to take care of it properly and put gas in it. (4.00 for Reg, ouch!) So today i drove 5 hours west to St. Joseph, Missouri and picked up what i thought was a good deal.

A 1993 Turquoise Pearl MR2 N/A. It has 268,xxx on body and 54,xxx on the rebuilt motor. Oh and its a sunroof! So far i'm in love, but want another Celica sometime soon. Im not going to say my goodbyes and dip out like other people do when they change vehicles, no you guys are still stuck with me. :P

Excellent Cavanagh! You'll love the Mid Engine Rear Wheel drive setup. :bigthumbu

One rule every MR2/Elise/Exige owner has - during cornering - Don't Ever Lift off the throttle. Maintain throttle or apply more and use steering to control/induce oversteer! Lots of fun and very rewarding.

St. Joseph Mo... That's like right by Ft. Leonardwood right? Sort of southern westish part of central missouri? Nice pick up though.

Thanks Guys! And yes, i read up on the oversteer issue, though the 93+ aren't as bad. I love the car, good gas mileage, peppy, handles like none other...mmmmm Oh and those pictures were after a good wash and wax, didnt have time for a claybar. And yes Geebees, Turquoise Pearl is known as a more rare color, as it was only offered for 1993. it's my personal favorite of MR2 colors.

Haha whoops, i meant Mr. Celica. Ya the alltrac here was overpriced esp. for the condition, and i dont think i can afford insurance, maintaining it, and putting gas in it right now. And Celicagt90_05, yes it is a blast to drive.

Nice find! Looking at the pictures, I would never have even come close to guessing it had 268k miles!

Nice, very clean for that many miles! Now all you need is a 3S!

Like everyone says just don't enter a corner faster than you're prepared to take it! Go to some auto-x events and you'll really get to appreciate the handling.

Ha ha... I was sitting here thinking, "what the hell's in that engine bay?"

After about two seconds I hit myself on the forehead very hard. "It's a MR-2, that's the trunk you fucking moron!"

*Shakes head...*

I should be entering some this summer. The car really is great around corners, as long as you stay on the gas. :burn:

Justin, are you going to trade me your MR2 for my Alltrac when I get it running??

I swear I will have another SW20 some day. And an all-trac/GT4 of some kind. Yeah. *sigh*

Very nice acquisition, Cav :bigthumbu

Let me know when you do, i'd like to come out and run with/against you. :)

The autox pickings are a little slim in my area.
