why would a car go through a wheel bearing in a matter of weeks/months? Possible causes: ...?

wheel misalignment?? bad installation?? unbalanced wheels?? Maybe!

well I did change it with a schmucks wheel bearing, but it still was over $100 I do believe. It was also pressed in by a guy that is a mechanic...

Ok, did you tighten the axle nut to proper torque? Think it's 160ft/lbs.

yea what joey said. you can damage the bearings if you over tighten the nut

Over-torquing the nut would be my best guess.

I once Over-torqued the nut on my Rx-7 due to my torque wrench being out of calibration. Bearing lasted ONE BLOCK. <---- Owned :D
