Always easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

Always easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

That is the best advice EVER.

Im going to try for the forgiveness situation, Cause I just got to have it, Only 7of150 had metalic in that color, why is male and female think so far apart? all they think of is things that are pink, flowers, weddings, babies, and shit when men just want to be turboed, cammed, slugged, ported & polished?

Plus, if she divorces you, you'll have a cool car to pick up women!

Don't try to convince her...just tell her how it's gonna be.

Well, if you NEED a new car, you might as well get that one. I mean, you would NEED a new car if you accidentally downshifted from 5th to 1st at 100mph, no? :lolhittin
I mean, why spend thousands rebuilding a transmission when you could get a CS?

In all seriousness, it's not better in the long run to ask forgiveness, that's just asking for resentment. However, you also shouldn't need to ask for permission if you bring at least an equal share of money home. If you all can really afford it and it's something you really want, should be able to explain that to your wife so she'll understand and then do it. If you sit on your bum all day and she makes all the money, then yes, you'd better ask permission :hehe:

My question is, why does the car pictured have two different license plates?

Cav once spoke of a man with an interesting solution to such a problem as this.

The guy had two 5th gen Alltracs, and just kept one in the parking lot until he could sell the other.

But the best solution is probably what has been said above. Just let her know how it is going to be. If you're taking financial responsibility, and that's what you want to do with your share of the earnings, then you should do it.

And if your family needs to eat on ramen for five years to pay for it, well by god, at least you'll have a pretty badass car to go to the grocery to get your ramen in.

You could just tell your wife what I tell mine. I love you honey but don't make me choose between cars and you, because you will not like the outcome.
