instead of doing a header i thought about bolting up a turbo manifold to my car and just run the pipe down from there. no turbo tho. has anyone done this i just saw it the other day on a friends friend car.

Why would you do this?

There would be no performance gain at all, most likely a loss of power.

The reason most turbo manifolds are a short log style like that is to get flow the to turbo faster to decrease lag. On an NA car you gain more power from scavenging effects of having longer tubes. Especially on tuned equal length full tube headers.

The difficulty of fabricating the piping to run off a turbo manifold, sans the turbo, would be pointless, especially with no power gain. It is essentially the same design as your factory exhaust manifold.

alright i didnt know what would happen its just that for me to get a header for my car is over $300.

u have the 5sfe right? dude, a header for that car is like 80 bucks or u can get a camry header for around the same price im sure. and yes, a turbo manifold for an n/a car will not flow as well.

look for a 94-99 celica gt header. there are about 8000000 threads on here about them and even write ups and links to what they got. im sure u can find them with minimal effort.
