Could be fun. Just bring some all seasons and rock the guys that brought their summer tires.

Yeah... I don't actually own any all seasons.

I've got High Performance Summer (Yoko ES100s)

And Max Performance Summer (Hankook RS2s)

Shit...

You drive on those in the winter?

Yeah it might not be fun autocrossing in those conditions

"I think I already wrote a review on these when I got them during the summer... they stick like GLUE, the dry grip is absolutely incredible, it's like you're driving on velcro. You won't find another tire in this price range that can compete. In the rain they are above average, hydroplaning is non-existant, but grip is down. Cornering grip in wet is still fairly good though. These are on my Skyline. ***However***, for even a little bit of snow, or some ice, and negative temperatures, you WILL get stranded. I got trapped where I parked at the side of the street away from home because of an unexpected snow storm, and there wasn't enough grip to overcome the tiny slope the road has to drain water towards the curb! Once I managed to get out, there was absolutely no traction whatsoever. none at all. expect to not be able to brake or corner even if you get it moving at like 5km/h, because i couldn't. these are suicidal in the snow." - Seven of Vancouver, BC on November 26, 2006

K I think I'm staying home...

Last Sun (13th) it snowed the night before and they predicted alittle during the day. That was the first autox I went to. I showed up with my rs2s and my buddy brought his r-comps. Alot of the evo and suby guys brought their snow tires! but it ended up dry by the 2nd session so we lucked out not bringing the all-seasons.

It was actually pretty good, was more wet than anything. No snow really suck on course so it wasn't bad. Getting to there was scary (went friday night) but coming back was nice and sunny (about 5 hours ago).

Video being converted... Will post later

By the way Joey.... i'd like to thank you for recommending those RS2s.... OMG.

Not comfy at all for daily driving, but it's all worth it.

I found the RS2 actually do better under race conditions with low pressures. I ran 31fr and 28rear and with my suspension setup the car was awesome.

NOTE: Might want to go up on pressures in warmer weather.

I ran 33fr and 31rear this weekend. I COULD NOT get the damn things to let go no matter what i did. I got the rear to twitch out oversteer a little, but the fronts wouldn't do a damn thing.

yeah last time i ran 33f 36r in about 45 degree weather and it was damn near perfect. the car didnt push at all and i could get the back loose on command. im the only one running these (rs2s) tires i see when i go autoxing, everyone else is running aziens.

See, now that's why I drag, even though I'm so slow. The coupe would've turned into a top if I tried that!
