OK, for the last two weeks, I've been driving the vert to work, praying for a warm enough evening to take the top down. And it's finally here! It's 60^F, and I'm getting ready to leave. I know, some of you might think I'm crazy, but I think 60-70^ weather is the perfect weather to go top down! I've been waiting for a day like this since mid October!!!

Just another week or two and it will be in the 60's all the time. Then I will live with the top down (except when it rains).

my god you have alot of cars.

The 90 GT and the black 92 'vert are gone, the 90 parted out, and the 92 basically fell apart. Leaked, back window was torn out, mold growing in the trunk, rusted drivers side floor, but the engine was still 100%, so I donated her. I put them in the sig because I have been feeling nostalgic since finding my old pages on toyotacelicaonline.com.
But I have been through a lot of cars in the past 10 years, 10 to be exact, I still have four of them.
The Grand Marquis is mostly a daily driver/errands/etc...
The All Trac is for really bad weather, when I want to have fun, etc...
The GT is for days like today
and the Honda might be my next project once I finish the engine swaps and suspension on the Celicas. Her interior is basically stripped except for the drivers seat, and I am thinking about popping in a 5 speed and a new engine eventually. Either that or junk her. I also use the Honda to build up the nerve to work on the Celicas. I've been taking the car apart and putting it back together, just to see if I can do it.
But when all that is done, I really do want to add an MR2 turbo and a MkIV Supra twin turbo to the list :)

^ whats funny is my mom has a honda crv ex, loaded, and I always open the moon roof but if I leave the fabric piece that you have to pull shut open, then she gets mad. She likes to have it open once in a while, but its a lot better to drive with it open

whats the point of having the options if your not going to use them? its like my moms civic that her boyfriend put a badass stereo in and she never uses it, when im riding with her i like to turn it up a little and then she turns it right back down, WTF?

My fiance does the same thing. She complains... COMPLAINS... when I take the top down. WHAT?!?! Why get a convertible if you never use it as a convertible?
I always get "it's too hot", "it's too cold", "it's too windy" or "it's too sunny".

Took care of the waxing and polishing two weeks ago. Car is pretty shiny and nice to drive.

Last night I called the time/temp at the local bank around 11:30 and it was still 46 degrees.

Yay

Well, at least I got to take advantage of Wednesday's weather. Yesterday it was raining and in the 40's, today it's overcast and in the 40's again. Weekends supposed to be cool also, but I have my hands full this weekend, so I wouldn't be able to do much driving anyway.

Don't feel too bad, my All Trac's AC hasn't worked since I put in the JDM 3S, and there is something flakey with the 'verts AC too. If I want AC, I have to use the Grand Marquis. Luckily, I won't have to worry about that for at least another two months. Hopefully I can get the AC fixed in the 'vert before then.
