to me the celicas are just too small to accept those kind of headlights, it just wasnt meant to be

damn...to be honest looks very nice from the front, but once you get a side view looks like crap, specially cause its a coupe with no side or rear ground effects. looks weird for the side. they did a nice job on the conversion but after all that money he still spray painted the taillights and his asking price is a bit much, i doubt he will get 8k with that many miles.

Whatever floats your boat. Just wont float mine. Thats one of the worst conversions to do on a celica. :zombie:

I like that that he asks you not to email him, yet leaves not phone number. Should I just go to Pennsylvania and just start asking for Claudio? And I agree, looks good from the front and like ass from the side.

I guess i've seen worse, though the headlights look too big and spaced out too much. I dont know why people do that to there cars....

Actually, I like that setup a lot more then almost all of the body kits I have seen. Yank a bunch of the electronics crap and throw in some 3sgte goodness and I would consider that car pretty sweet.

I'm not a fan of the M3 fenders, although there is nothing wrong with them, but without those, and with some modest side skirts, that might not look terrible.

Have you guys seen this one yet?

While I don't think that looks too bad, the "do-it-yourself" Celica Supra doesn't work as good as the original me thinks :D

that 'suprelica' looks nicer than 7th gen celicas
except the things on the hood.

Host your sig on Celicatech for the love of god and all that is holy.

I'm work-bound, this is my home away from home and they don't let me see pictures not hosted on Celicatech. :(

better celica to supra conversion

Not a fan. It actually looks like two seperate cars. The front is too angular, and the rear is too blocky. But at least it looks professional - better than most conversions.

oooo, I see. How do I go about having it hosted here? It's nothing too special just FYI, don't want you to be disappointed, LOL

Guess you're not much of an old school person, bc that car would be "technically correct" if Toyota had really made a Supra coupe. The angles of the 82-85 Celica and 82-86 Supra are very close to being the same, very sharply designed, and mesh well (in my opinion) when merged together, like this Celi/Supra convertible:

Yellow bar at the top, there's a link to the gallery, and you can host from there, it'll generate an [img] tag for it. :)

its ok like half the people here are not, a quarter of them i educated that there indeed were rwd celicas, my car has been mistaken for a supra on here as well, its ok they all know now since half my posts contain "22re" in someway or another

Actually, I like that one. Maybe it's the top down? I don't think I would like it with the top up. I also didn't like a custom MkIII Supra convertible that I saw a few months back on Craigslist, but I love the MkIII Supras. Dunno, I don't think the Supra looks good as a coupe.

Hey, I'm with you there. Not a fan of the coupe thing, but you gotta admit the lines are where they should be. It's not like hacking a MK1 Supra onto a MKIV or anything, lol.

I'd like the convertible too if the top up didn't look as gay as it does

Actually, I think the original hack job might have looked a lot better if it was done to a wide body GTS. The front is too aggressive for the rear. A wider stance would have looked a lot nicer, plus it would have looked better with a hatch. I guess what I don't like about that second Supra coupe is the way the back window just drops off. The front and the mid section line up fine, I just can't get past that sudden loss of car, like you're expecting to see something, but it's just not there...

Ew. I understand the 3rd gen jobs, but not the others. If you want a supra just save a few more pennies. That 3gc vert looks kewl, but that coupe looks all wrong. I mean it's well done, but the top of the coupe lines don't work with that front end.

:stupid:

I always thought it would be an awesome look.

I am not a huge fan of the 3rd Gen coupes, but I do like them.

BTW what is all this talk about Old School?

RWD Celicas? This is all nonsense!?

When you guys can quote every styling change of the F-Body, then maybe I will recognize some 'Old School' status.

:hehe:

I will Find a Celica Supra, and it will be mine.
