So I just got back from a week at Massanutten resort (near Harrisonburg, VA) And I decided to check my milage on the 300 mile trip there. Overall, I got about 32.2MPG which is really decent considering I drove from Washington PA and past Senaca Rocks (WV) so there were a lot of mountain passes involved. Also, the GT was loaded with crap for the trip, so i'm sure I could even do better on the MPG.

I'm sure I could Also do better if I avoided some "spirited" driving (but out-climbing that outback was fun...)

Here are a few pics from the top of one of the mountains, it was a great day to drive, so I pulled over for a few pics.

If any of you guys actually lived out there, that whole road, (Route 33 I think) would make an awesome cruise/meet

Massanutten is awesome. We stayed there a couple of years back, real nice place. Did you happen to do Skyline Drive while you were there?

Well, I was only there for a few days, so I didn't get a chance to do a whole lot. Really only hit the Go-Carts, Waterpark, arcades, and driving range. So yeah, I didn't get a chance to hit skyline drive.

It is an awesome place, I used to go there all the time way back when. This was the first time I've been there in about 9 years though.

Yeah, I wish I would make it to the dragon this year. That road definatly got the taste for technical driving in my mouth.
