hey does anyone have specific instructions and possible layouts and pics for attaching a speedo converter/delimiter. It converts kmh to mph. I just got the cluster off of ebay and it came with this thing, but not how to hook it up. Thanks for the help.

PS it's from Far East Services, they apparently don't have email anymore. 4wires, just not sure where to attach them all. Thanks

Jon

Anyone have a picture of the back of the ST-185 cluster and maybe the the pins for the following. KMH input; MPH output; 12 +; and Ground. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated.

are you just trying to convert your gauges from KMH to MPH? If so all you need is the gauge face, its already calibrated

Actually I'm trying to convert it from 180kmh to 180mph. Or atleast that is what the gauge faces lead me to believe. I just need the connection points for those I listed previous. Thanks

the GTS gauges read 150 MPH or around 240 KMH. So are you just changing the face? Im a little lost, you dont need to convert anything just change the gauge face

Nope, the gauge face reads to 180mph. The kmh go to roughly 290. I've put it in and it reads just like a regular 180kmh gauge. I'm pretty sure with this thing attached it'll read to 180mph, or atleast that's what I'm taking from it. Trust me, this is not a simple gauge face switch.

sounds it, I've not seen that before either, just the 240 KMH gauges and 150 MPH gauges. Well at any rate, I trust you but unfortunately I wont be able to help, sorry

Well thanks to an hour or so at Conrad's place we found a pic from the UK to help me with the speedo conversion. It's in and my roommate helped me make it accurate again. NOw reads MPH quite well.

Here's a pic of the back of someone else's cluster. I'll post a pic of my cluster soon.

So what does this achieve?

A 180KMH speedo is the same as a USDM 120MPH speedo.

Just get the gauge face or buy a different cluster.

There used to be a company whom made 180MPH face plates. They were meant for the All Trac's though.

Well I really just wanted to know how fast my car could go. I had it over 180kph already. Basically my I'll know how fast I'm going, not that I go that fast that often, just fun every once in a while.

A new face plate may be in order soon.
