Yeah, I was bored. I found the model in my bag in the hotel. Must have put it in there during a car show. Thought I'd have some fun.

^^^Obviously you haven't looked at salaries in a while. Every time the price of fuel goes up, we take a pay cut so a ticket across the country still costs what it did 15 years ago.

And yes, I'd have to kill you if I told you. :)

I'm going to guess you're flying a CRJ200 for ASA. Am I right? Is captain pay better for you at ASA than FO pay at mainline Delta flying DC9s or 737s?

Creepy.
Am I psychic? Maybe. Am I well read? Perhaps. Am I a pilot? Could be. What I am not is creepy. Jeffery Dalmer is creepy. Michael Devlin is creepy. You might even be creepy....though I hope not. That makes the thought of faceless internet posts........well, creepy! Peace!!!

I'm guessing that's a 1/24 scale polyurethane model by the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The exact model is of a ST185 RC Group-A. Or maybe It's some kind of Chinese diecast knockoff.

It's pretty rare nowadays, but you might be able to track one down at your local reputable hobby store, or through Hasegawa's American distributor, Dragon Models. They don't list the model on their web site at http://www.dragonusaonline.com, however, if you call them, they might be kind enough to give you at least the specific Hasegawa kit number (part number, same thing).

If you're not willing to jump through all those hoops to get a 1/24 scale GT4, then you might be willing to settle for a full-on rally version (like I did). The car is a 1993 Monte-Carlo winning GT4. It comes with optional super-duper fog lights. It's a nice kit, I built one a long time ago. The part number is 24125. http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/list/24car_img/24125m.jpg

BTW, cool pic. Does it get boring on the flights?

I actually found the model on ebay UK. It was in a red "Toyota" box so it looks like it may have been offered by Toyota. It's metal and of course I had to have it because it was a black RC with grey interior. I think is was $26 with shipping.

Like the pictures - but I've got to say... if you shot it about this time last week, you had to be going north. Every southbound leg we flew showed about 130 mph winds on the nose!
