I decided I can find a cheap set of G35 rims without breaking my bank next summer.

I know that sucker needs to be lowered....but how about em?

Anyone find these for cheap?

Lower it a little bit and I'd think they look pretty good. Whatcha gonna do about the Infiniti center caps?

Those are great rims. One of my favorite stock rims. Your best bet is going to be searching g35 forums, craigslist and ebay.

Well....obviously thats not my car...lol

But mine looks the same .

As far as the rims go, I found a set off of a G35 Sedan just like those in my picture, but on Craigslist. I have yet to check the G forums, but will do so.

Hobby--As far as the center caps go, I believe some Lexus caps will fit in there, which would be sweet. These rims aren't as aggressive when it comes to offset, but you can always add spacers or something. And yes, a drop will look marvelous.

I'll go stock struts with Eibach Sportline springs. Apparently that combination has the best ride comfort and is just as good as an OEM ride. I'll also get new KYB strut mounts and what not. My struts are relatively new, so there's no point in getting rid of them just yet. The car handles nicely as well.

Those are too much money for me. I want to spend $1,000 or less and the G35 rims with tires come and go for about that price frequently. There's a set on the Chicago CraigsList for $1,250 with brand new tires OBO. Something like that would be ideal. I plan to flip a few cars to get a jump start on saving for them and hopefully by spring/summer 2009 I can afford to start shopping heavily for them. That includes selling my Chrome Enkei's as well.

The one in the link in my first post.

How much were they?

I got my set of Spormax 002s for $480 + shipping in 16x8 size.

Where did you get them from?

I'm fairly certain that 18"s or 19"s would cost no less than $800 rims only. I like the look of the G rims and--as stated--can get them with good tires attached for even a grand or less.

Find a set of 18's or 19's with tires (mounted or not) that look nice on my car for a grand or less SHIPPED and thats in business too. Chicago always has G35 rims for sale on CraigsList. 19's are my ideal size. 18's are so so.

Local shop, Tru Motorsports.

That's pretty much the price direct from Sportmax. I'll see what i can find for you.

lol.

Some of the early 2000's ish LS430 center caps will fit the rims. Most of those things are the same size nowadays.

The problem with other struts is that they don't have that Lexus feel. I want a lower car with the same ride comfort and this is the best way to go.
