I prefer clean, and if you're going to REALLY fix it up, keep it functional. One thing I really hate is when people are all show with no real purpose, like tv's all over the place that are virtually useless. When I fix up a ar, everything has a purpose

It depends on what you building the vehicle for.... Show or go but the clean look is what I go for funcinality is always a plus. Though I seen some car on the wilder side of styling that look realy good

I can appreciate both sides as long as the build looks\is well put togather and doesn't interfer with body lines too much creating a gaudy looking thing

i can say that the majority of members on celicatech have clean cars. many people on this site have the cs bumper and that is without a doubt on the clean side seeing as how it's also a stock bumper.

Funny you should say that, Today I just finished putting a fiberglass dash and 8 tv's in my friends 93 civic hatch

I like clean...both can be clean, if done right. For your car, alot of people (at least in Springfield) hate the TRD Appearance package, when i actually really like it. I just see it alot on GT a hell of a lot more than GT-S'. I think it depends on the car really, but overall, CLEAN.

yep, his 7" flip out, one in each sunvisor, three molded into the dash where the glove box used to be, and 2 in the fiberglass consol. Oh and I put in a Vtak controller and a butt load of other shit

lol why so many? I once saw a mini cooper that was completely useless as a car, they actually had made a custom bracket for when you pop the hood, it sits over the motor with some tvs and speakers, and I think they had something else that also defeated the purpose of the car. I really didnt like it, lots of effort with absolutely no purpose

Clean and functional all the way. I built my car to function and be fun at the same time. I don't need a million tv's as its pointless if im the only one in the car. Funny part is i get more head turns then the ricer hondas around here. Then they wonder why.:hehe:

clean, once in a while ill see a not retarded body kit, but for the most part theres always something you could have spent the money on, unless youve abosolutly pushed the limits of the car mechanicly, but that usually means its time for a rebuild/upgrade.

Clean and functional. Every modification should have a realistic purpose beyond style. Or at the very least, shouldn't be detrimental (ie, 20" chromies).

Even paint should be chosen to highlight the natural lines of the car. For instance a very curvy car (ie, new Mitsubishi Eclipse) looks great in a bright metallic color because it accetuates the curves (especially those hips), but a slab-sided car (ie, Chrysler 300C) looks better in a dark gloss because the style is in the silhouette and reflections, it also lends some visual weight.

If a car is stock and was fast new and runs properly it more often than not is faster than many modified cars which dont run perfect all the time. Example my 88 alltrac is stock with exception to downpipe advanced ignition timing underdrive pulley and K&n filter I dust silly modified hondas on a regular basis. By the way my alltrac is the ugliest bone stock dinged up car in the parkinglot.

I think our celies look sweet bone stock. I have the Z3 fenders and I would eventually like some modest rims and maybe a 6th gen gt4 spoiler. Ok, and maybe a hood scoop eventually. I like making the car look wider then longer, but thats just me. I'm not a huge fan of most of the aftermarket bodykits at all. Especially the invader.
I do like at dressed up engine though. Don't really know why...

I always kind of liked the wild stuff, but then I got my first car and realized that it is sooooooo impractical. and now, 12 cars later, I Am sticking to the clean look. I can still appriceate the work that has gone into a wild looking vehicle. take "trance4c", or "itsoktosmokev8s". They both have kitted, fiberglassed 5gs and I love them both. I can actually respect them even more for it because I am finding it hard enough driving my fairly clean bodied celica around here. I cant even imagine driving something even lower. And "Extreme skills": I dont know how you go about not bending those rims everyday.

I keep my vehicles clean, but I can also appriceate the wild stuff, and if potholes somehow magically never show up again, I might even try something wild too.

ya i use to be all about somewhat wild stuff as you put it like im tryin to sell my 95 mx3 that has a full bodykit spoiler and the whole shabang! but with the celica i just bought its staying pretty straight forward with nothing more but a lip kit and some rims! for looks wise
