Notes: The pictures at night only include the city light and re-wired cornering lamps (ice white and orange respectively)

What rims should I take to the dragon? Chrome or charcoal OEM wheels?

The lighter set with the stickier tires.

Deep dish wheels are a must on that type of car. Very nice btw.

The OEM wheels have CHEAP tires on them. They aren't a matching set either. Starfires in back and Goodyear Viva II's in front. I essentially only use them for winter rims.

Should I still bring those?

Shouldn't this be in multimedia?

Very clean SC you have there. Bring whichever wheel/tire combo you feel safest on. Those chrome wheels look really bad on that car IMO.

Take the ghetto chromies!!!! Chrome adds grip as well as HP!!

Looks good man. :bigthumbu

Looks good, except what you need is: Rims, Lowered, and that NA-T engine. :bigthumbu

What tires do you have on the chrome rims?

Thanks for the compliments! I love the car

Ghetto rims: Toyo Proxes TPT-II.

Still have the rubber hairs on the side.

Honestly, yeah the chrome rims aren't the greatest looking, but they were free and add some bling to the car...lol They loook a ton better in person.

As far as future plans go, I just want to get it looking good on the exterior.

This summer comes:

--2000 front bumper
--2000 headlights (they have a better projector)
--2000 fog lghts
--Pull the dent out and fix the hood and then respray the front end of the car
--Fix driver seat rip and get new driver side door panel.

NA-T is dependent on my money. I honestly don't even care about it at this point. Its fast enough, sounds great, and is extremely reliable. I've moved on from fart cans and that kind of junk to classy stuff (like most people here). I don't need speed.

Some day I'll get some 18" or 19 staggered mesh style wheels. Essentially within the next two years, I want the car to look like this:

I need to worry about my 72 Celica too. I have a lead on a Nevada 72 or 73 ST that has been sitting in a garage for years and has NO rust on it, but doesn't run. the guy said if its still there I could get it for nothing and swap my stuff into it and get rid of the one I have (so there would be a rusty 72 shell if anyone wanted it at the time of doing so.)

Clean car btw, I would drive on those rims until the tires are done then craiglist them sure someone will pick them up and put it on their rust box then use the money to buy some real rims.

I would bring the chromes to the dragon then. If your sidewall is rolling over increase the tire pressure. You can test this by marking the tires with some shoe polish or chalk and go all out in a parking lot after you've warmed up your tires and see if the chalk or shoe polish is wearing out on the sidewall, if it's wearing out increase the pressure and repeat until it's not wearing off on the sidewall. If the shoe polish is not wearing out on the actual tread you'll want to do the reverse and lower the pressure. Also make sure your brakes up to par, especially flush the brake fluid if you haven't done it already. It's a really bad feeling when your brake fluid boils and the pedal drops to the floor.

cool car. I could never really get into them there just too heavy of cars. But I like yours the staggered look would be awesome!

Its a heavy car, but lighter than a lot of cars out there too. It has its own style

But yeah...the chrome ones have got to go some day.

Not in a huge hurry...just trying to scrape by and make it look as nice as possible.
