hi guys, i had a offer on my car for 3400 and he is willing to come pick it up tomorrow.....honestly would not mind selling it cause i owned it for 5 years and kinda want to move to a next project but in one way do not want to sell it cause i did drop a new motor....so confused help guys.....

here is the two options i have now or i can wait and for 3500 pickup a turbo mr2 or a celica all trac....

1998 honda prelude 2.2 vtec 5 spd needs headgasket.

or this 1991 mr2 with a 3rd 3sge, jdm taillights, racing seats, jvc t.v, kit etc.... one bad thing he had a acciendent so he has no hood, and the quarter panel has a small dent but he covered it with the side ground effect, he replaced the door, so he needs small body work and hood...here is the link

well u put alot of work into it...but, 3400 is alot to pass up, specially for a 14yr old car with modifications. Money wise id say do it but i dont know how attached you are to your car.
dont get a prelude man. the trans on them really dogs em out, keeps them out of vtec alot. and i dont know if u can even touch an mr2 turbo w 3400. all i seen are above 5g's unless u have some connection.

Ya and that mr2has a beast park bench. You could get a nice N/A though for 3,400 and swap it later.

do have alot of connection with the car, but really want something different and kinda tired of working on it........i did find a awesome mr2 turbo for 2740, with rebuilt motor, je piston fully built head, just needed a timing belt but the guy just sold the car tw odays ago, i was so mad, i really want another toyota, i am thinking i should just hold on the money and try to find something nice and save a little more money.

what you think about the red mr2, does need bodywork other then that does have a nice 3rd gen 3sge and a bunch of mods.....if i did get the prelude would turbo charge that biatch....

the red mr2 is nice, but it has some body damage. the pics dont really show it, maybe ask the seller for some up close pics. i really like mr2's but they are such a pain to work on and not too comfortable for me. im 5'10 and feel very crammed in the car. and again, dont get a prelude. they are nice cars but the trans sucks on them. 100% reliable but it keeps them out of the power band.
i found a really mint 90gts thats black for 1000 bucks, it has a mile long service record, then ud have 2400 left over...hmm what could i do with 2400....lemme see....ah get a 3sgte front clip! since u do all your work by urself ud save alot on labor. do it do it!

That's a really good offer, I would sell it and get something with some power but that's just me. On the other hand if you're really attached to the car you'll be kicking yourself in the ass later because you will miss the car.

that is true for a grand and rest for mods, cause i was thinking about that already hehehehe, i understand about the mr2 i am 6'1 so i understand.... to be honest i do like small cars and i do want a 2 seater.....my father was pushing me towards the prelude....since its a honda reaible and its a damn honda......would not really worry about a car yet the worry is should i sell the car, i did love the car and hate it, i really do need a new project cause cannot spend no more money into the celica its value is the damn same........so confused.

those are all nice celica's, but would not want to sell my car 3400 and buy a high milege stock celica for 1500-2000, when i have low milege, new motor, new all trac leather interior, new suspension, new paint, all trac hood, bodykit molded, so basically for 1500 i can not even do nothing......

why you want to sell your car too??? i do not want another celica unless its a alltrac. which is going to be hard to find for 3400 but will save up a little more, really want a mr2 or celica turbo.

im not selling my celica, i was playing. You ever think about selling the celica then buy ing a beater for like 500 and then putting the rest into the 7th gen??

the 7th gen is a gt, really would hate to mod it, really want something quick. if you get my drft cause i do have a damn st now. want a turbo or a 2 seater turbo to work on and have the 7th gen as a daily driver...want a rare car were i can spend money into it. i did just sell a bunch parts on newcelica, org so i have about 300 coming in and some in paypal. so about 3700 is my budget...would not mind traveling 2-3 hours away for something nice.

i think you'd be crazy not to sell. you can find a good car for that kind of money and still have some cash left to spend on mods.

Do it but stay away from the lude it has a blown head gasket ludes are great cars and the H22 vtec is an swapme motor and the trans don't suck btw and thers lots of aftermarket support for the prelude just don't buy pre 96

no 92-96...this one is a 98, i like the lude cause it is a bit newer and they do not make them any more and yes they have a boatload of aftermarket support...i e-mailed the guy and he still has it...looks very clean check the link...prelude is tempting so is a mr2. i want to stay in the toyota family though, but really can not seem to find a nice mr2
