Nice find. I was looking last night to see exactly what modification was needed on that passenger side mount to fit the ZZ engines and this answers that.

I want to see it race an elise now. :)

Its still about 500-600 lbs heavier than an elise.

MK1 MR2s weigh in from 2300 to 2600 lbs.

You wouldnt think theyre heavy, but theyre heavier than youd think.

MK3s are 2200 or so. Elises are like 1950.

thats pretty awesome...

I thought they weighted less than that. :( O well. Still would be fun to see how it would handle against one atleast. I bet you could get it down to atleast 2100lbs or so. Still would be cool.

o yeah if he drops some weight that thing would be nice....one of the pages he has it dyno'd few times. it made some good numbers

We thought the factory pump may have been limiting the fuel. Not the case... I'm running FAT!!! In all of the runs I was rich, down about 9 something.

The difference on the last run was the motor cooled a bit and we ran a fan for the radiator. It appears the fan also helped with the rich condition. The cooler air may have helped the air/fuel because on the last run I saw a low of about 10.5.

Im thinking if I can get my air/fuel into the 13.5-14.5 area I should be putting down about 169-173 WHP. Time to fix some A/F ratios

Nice, that's about the WHP on a healthy stock Alltrac I think. Even without dropping weight it'd still be quick. Slower than a 2zz swapped Spyder, but faster than a 1zz one.

MKIs look REALLY light, 2300 i guess isnt that bad though.

me too! ;)

how much does the celica st weigh about 2300-2400?? i think.. so a 2zz would be a nice swap for st celica's.

Somewhere in the same range as the MR2 MK1s, yes. I'd imagine a 2ZZ in an ST would be very similar in performance to a 7th gen GT-S.

hahaha, this is soo cool, id love to see this thing pull up to someone and be thought of as a sleeper
