What you think? Also, how you like the tint on the drivers side?

That's as far as I've made it with the tint, thus far...

tinting is one of my more favorite things to do to a vehicle... ;-)

looks good, you do it all yourself??

I tried to do it on my old '85 300zx, and it looked like crap, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get all of the bubbles out and it kept tearing, creasing, etc...

Of course I do it myself...

I'm not paying 250 dollars to do the car, when I can do it myself, for about 50 total...

Tinting isn't the most FUN thing to do, by far... but I like it.

How much would you want to do mine?? That is if yours turns out good when its done. There was a place just a little bit away that quoted me $125 to do both doors, quarter windows, and back window 20%. But the place got hit by a tornado a month or two ago, therefore no business...

Depending how "way up north in Michigan you are, of course" I'm about 30 minutes south of the MI/IN border just off of US31...

I"m a fan of my bronzey painted wheels over the gunmetal. That color gunmetal looks too much like the color of the tires.

By way up North, I mean almost in Canada...

I can't wait to get the tint finished... It's gonna be so bad ass...

And I know I'm gonna eventually get pulled over for it, but whatever...

When that happens, I'll just put some 20% on it... haha

Ya, the UP would be it...

MSU? Michigan State? I go to Norther Michigan...

Isn't Lansing farther than an hour from Detroit?

Yep, I'm a Spartan.. MSU is East Lansing. Takes about 1:30-1:40 to get to Woodward blvd from our place. I also lived in Battle Creek bwahahaha

Ya, I can't wait to get this car finished...

It's my second project I have going right now...

My main one is my 06 Dakota... prolly shouldn't have torn it apart like I did...

Btw... I tear off interior panels when I tint windows... does any one have any advice on how to get the door panels back ON after I take them off?

I can't lift the lip enough to get it into the little holders... and it's severely pissing me off...

Tint looks good as well as the wheels. Make sure you clear coat the wheels. I live 20 min from Detroit and never had a problem with my tint down here. But on my way up to Mt. Pleasant, I got pulled over in Ithica. Cop told me that I can go back to Detroit and never get pulled over but anytime I go up north they'll always get me. Guess the cops up there have nothing better to do. Good luck not gettin pulled over for the tints.

All except for the smashed rear end...

Hahaha... and ya, I'm gonna clear coat the wheels tmrw... I have a matte finish spray paint I think I'm gonna hit the wheels with...

What ya think?

Glossy, or matte?

Roll the windows down, then hook the panel on from the top, move it into position and then push in the connectors, working from the top down.

So I had some caliper paint in the house, and needed to get the calipers less rusty, so I sprayed em w/ cleaner, and used the wire brush on them for a while and got all the rust off them...

Whatcha think of painting attempt number 2?

looks pretty good, now you need to get it all back together and get pics with them through the wheels. You made sure to use appropriate paint right?

Frenchy

Yup yup...

I have pics of the rears assembled, the fronts aren't on yet, cuz I can't get a clamp on there to compress the pistons... I'm pissed...

And plus, the wheels are in the other garage, warming up, so I can sand the paint a little bit and clear coat them....

I have a pic of the calipers behind the rear wheels, just not the fronts...

In my experience, C clamps work best on compressing pistons

Here's a little bit more of stuff I've used a spray can to paint...

My grille on my truck...
