I bought 7th gen GT-S rims and one of them has a small spot where the layer is bubbling.
I'd like to stop it while its still small, no need to make it look shinny and all again, just want to stop it, what's the best way? What should I use on it? :D

gen 7 rims are known for bubbling, its the corrosion under the laquer you need to get rid of, mask off the area leaving around an inch all the way around the affected area, rub it down with wet & dry aluminium oxide paper removing all the corrosion, take off the masking and blend in the rub down job with fine paper then localising, re-laquer the area and rub down with finishing compound. for a quick fix. you may need to match a silver paint before the laquer.

double check all the wheels and do any little bits you can.

judging by the perfomance of G7 wheels, you may need to get them done professionaly or at least a full DIY renovation.

Because of this problem with G7 wheels, i decided against getting a set for my gen 4.

good luck.
