Weeee what fun.. parked my car for a week here in Calgary.. went to start it today, after a bit of cranking it started and I left it running for 15 minutes then my remote start turns it off.. I go back out and start it again, and not enough juice from the optima redtop to crank.

Rawwwrr.. just had to vent..

That sucks man!! Is it the battery or the alternator?? B/C if it was running for 15 minutes the alternator should have charged the battery.

well that just sucks.

I think I know the problem... when me and KoreanJoey were doing my clutch, somehow a bunch of fuses blew and Im sure that my remote starter fuses blew cause when I do a remote start takeover and take the key out, everything powers off except the car so I'm thinking it turns off the alternator too.

So I just left it and I'll just jump my battery tommorow.. its sitting at 10.8v.. and hopefully find out why my remote start doesn't fully work.

Yay car started after a bit of cranking after awhile of sitting jumped. Clutch pedal returns slow, key sensor so cold it "lags".. and some coolant leak looks like its coming from the fan switch and the hose next to it on the radiator.

Now the real test is to start it up on the 4th, and drive that thing 1200kms. Tread on my fronts are down to like 20-30 percent haha.

well what a disappointment.. barely any traction on compact snow, so I'm just gonna leave my Celica here in Calgary probably till March ): Or maybe come back later on and buy winter tires and drive it back home.

I'm gonna miss driving this thing and being 1200kms away from it.
