last night I was takin my celica out of the driveway when I heard a strange poppish/clunk noise and suddenly I only had half my brakes. Turns out one of my pads managed to work its way out of the caliper and fell off, causing the piston to slide out enough to leak. Luckily thats all that happens, so now I gotta go get new pads and load back in the piston. It felt weird drivin my truck again...

I heard the same poppish noise myself about 2 weeks back. Turns out both my 2 back pads had worn out and popped both cyclinders out. Luckily it happened as I was parking, right after getting off the highway(freeway).

The caliper itself didnt go bad, it was only due to the pad falling off, and the piston didnt want to load back in.

And I know its not all bad, it's just man I wish it didnt happen, just more money
