Heres why...

It still needs a bit of polishing and yes I know the ends stick out a little bit, I havent had to time to mess with that yet. Either way it looks much better, its just a bit duller than the rest of the car but oh well, I am thinkin about having the car repainted. I also ordered some NGK V-power spark plugs, come in tomorrow. Anyway you guys damn well better like it

hellz ya! that looks soo much better man!

10-25-2007, 12:26 AM
yes it does, oh and those white dots are polish that went in to the license plate holes. Since its raining, I dont have the ability to polish it much, or give it a bath and rinse out that polish, so right now it'll work. I'll have to get some day time shots when the rain lets up

10-25-2007, 12:50 AM
it'll look good once you fasten the bumper to the fenders.

10-25-2007, 12:50 AM
btw, how much it cost you?

10-25-2007, 01:18 AM
It ended up bein $40, it was gray so I sanded it a little and coated it with black spray paint, not too bad overall

10-25-2007, 02:00 AM
Much better!

10-25-2007, 02:11 AM
Looking better, except did you candy flake the bumper? :hehe:

10-25-2007, 02:17 AM
^lol. Yea it looks better then the broken POS.

10-25-2007, 03:03 AM
lol nah. After I clear coated it, it was grayish looking, then I polished it and man did that help. I'm gonna do it a few more times after the rain clears up. I was gonna fill in those holes from the license plate but I couldnt find my hardener so I just said hell with it

10-25-2007, 03:13 AM
:bigthumbu A little elbow grease and it will look even better.

If only you came to pittsburgh hahaha!

10-25-2007, 04:08 AM
^^ haha but I didnt have the bumper when I had the chance to drop by there. Say burny, I have you on AIM but I never see you online, whats the deal?

10-25-2007, 04:59 AM
nice! But hey, i think you might of gotten a GT-S bumper. I know u said it isnt button'd in on the bottom, but even up top it looks wide for ure fenders. I dunno, but congrats!!!!!

10-25-2007, 05:04 AM
no, its not, extremeskillz is the GT-S bumper, and this one came off an ST. I just have to connect it in at the bottom on the sides, its just the angle and lighting of the pics. At any rate thanks! I have a little bit of things to do to it but it deffinately looks way better

10-25-2007, 05:08 AM
on my gt-s it has vertical lines unlike extremeskillz's which has horizontal lines.

10-25-2007, 05:12 AM
haha well I dont think it matters anyway, but the old bumper did that, I didnt think the new one would. On the drivers side I still have to get the clips in and then secure it at the bottom, and then just secure the passenger side at the bottom

The GT-S bumper is the same fit as the narrowbody ST and GT bumpers. The fenders are wider around the wheels but they still meet the bumper in the exact same spot. The 1990-1991 ST, GT and GT-S actually have the exact same bumpers. 1992-1993 GT-S got the All-Trac bumper as you can see in extremeskillz's sig and 1992-1993 ST & GT received a facelift with this bumper. (http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/8530/img6837lu5.jpg) Just wanted to clear things up as all the different bumpers available can be confusing.

10-25-2007, 06:19 PM
well I swapped the plugs to NGK V-power....and pulled out bosche platinum 4's. However, when taking off I have more pep, and the rest of the scale is about the same, I suppose those platinum 4's arent all the rage after all....anyway my next plans are not for certain yet, I'll let you guys know

10-25-2007, 06:22 PM
Copper plugs make the most power!

10-25-2007, 06:34 PM
new pics

10-25-2007, 06:57 PM
Can you post a pic of your interior?

10-25-2007, 10:43 PM
that looks good dude. glad you got ride of the platinum 4's. worst plug ever imo.

10-26-2007, 12:50 AM
Yeah with the platinums in it bogged takin off, it was sluggish til I reached higher RPM's, the new ones basically eliminated that which I'm happy about. Oh and I'll try to take more pics of the interior, which there is hardly one to start lol just seats, dash, door panels, sun visors, and rear view. There is one pic in my gallery

Oh no! You got the bumper instead of the wheels  j/k

Looks better than half a bumper you had before. $40 is a good deal. It would have cost all of that to ship mine to you.

Btw, The one on Craigslist I called about was gone. So mine stays as is for now.
