It really wasnt that bad, I knew where it went in at from underneath the hatch so I just drilled the holes and bored them out accordingly. All went well and it took about a half hour to accomplish, tell me what you guys think! :ohyeah:

Much better :bigthumbu Are you keeping those pink pinstripes down the side of the car?

10-17-2007, 06:11 PM
they are actually maroon to match the interior and no, they are torn up, but they are a pain to get off so I may leave them til I have the car repainted

nice job man!, you need 3 piece now! hahaha.

I'm not a fan of the one-piece, you should have bought a three.

One is better than none! :)

I have a 3 pc i need to install.I need to get it painted since its navy blue and my celica is grey.I don't have an idea where to start with putting in a spoiler.

Supra Style Wing!!!!!!!!

I'm not a fan of the one-piece, you should have bought a three.

I like the 1 peice a tiny bit more actually, not sayin I dont like the 3 peice but its just way too common, there was 1 of these which is the first one I've really seen and 4 or 5 of the 3 peice I could have got. Plus, with the 3 peice it wouldnt have covered the holes from where my car had a wing, that was the biggest thing I wanted to do

it's pimp.

Very nice. Now when you drilled the holes did you seal it up so it does not rust on you around the holes?

10-18-2007, 03:45 AM
^Yes I did grabbed some RTV, put it around the gaskets from where it bolts and the 2 pins I couldnt remove and around the holes as well, then put some on the nuts before tightening them back in so it should be pretty well set. I also gave each hole a blast of black spray paint to help, and the RTV is just to help back that up

looking nice. i had the three piece twice and the one piece and sold them all just decided to go without a wing. but the wings looks better on hatch then coupe to me. whats your next mods?

Mr Celica

looks sweet man, its coming along well! now get a bumper! lol

10-18-2007, 05:20 PM
^ haha I'm tryin to! The only black celica I've come across so far is the one I pulled the spoiler from. It has the 92-93 front bumper like I want, but they put it in the lot tilted so the nose hits the grould and so the bumper is a little distorted and damaged so I decided to hold out and see what else comes along. As for next mod, I am not sure yet, I am considering getting some white gauges and clear corners, but I'd still like to save up and get the couple other body components I need plus 7th gen GT wheels

Nice, makes the car flow. Looking better everyday man.

Does this wing fit on a coupe? Is that what you are saying Celicatrd93?

I am fond of the no spoiler look since I ditched my park bench, but I might be enticed bt this.

10-19-2007, 04:40 AM
^it looks like it would to me murg. If not, you could most likely grab an ST/GT Coupe Spoiler, i think they look pretty good, if you do not know what im talking of tell me, ill post up a picture.

10-19-2007, 04:42 AM
I have seen pics of most if not all stock option spoilers. I think this would look nice on a coupe if it fit. I don't like the look of the stock coupe spoilers.

what other spoilers are there? I just know of the one I have and the 3 peice
