Well guys, I did manage to get down to the timing belt, got both covers off WITHOUT taking the harmonic balancer off. You may be wonder what the hell I'm talking about....well seems to me the person who put on the last timing belt stripped the threads on the harmonic balancer, because there was a cut on the bottom timing belt cover to be able to pull the cover up and off without romoving the balancer....that car was so mistreated before, I cant wait til I actually get this car done right...oh and another thing that leads me to suspicion some reject is that some of the bolts were missing from the covers...both of them...

got the oil pump off and not much to my surprise, the oil pump seal was broken at the top! A job well done! Well...almost....still gotta get it put back together
