I'm getting my 88GTS (3SGE) dyno'ed because, 1) I want to see what it's putting down, and 2) because it may help me figure out why I'm running lean.

Local shop charges $90 for a basic torque/hp dyno and $130 for hooking up their wide band O2 and running a diagnostics to try and help ID the problem.

Is this about right or should I try and find another shop? Anything else I should know and/or ask them to do? Thanks.

For the diagnostic abilities, I suppose it would be fine.

Last time I bought dyno time it was $50 for 30 minutes.

thats too much. most places should charge you 50-75 for about 4 runs with a wideband. 100+ is what they usually charge if you are booking time by the hour.

I'll check around some more. It took me a while to find that one. I may not have many options in the area.

yah true that is rather expensive.

Here its 50 for 3 pulls. If you want your car tuned at a experienced shop they will do 150 per hour unlimited pulls.
