im not exactly sure how this would mount. im not sure at all how twin turbo works either. i should maybe look it up lol. what is it a turbo on the exhaust and a turbo on the intake? if i knew more about it i wouldnt mind making my own custom manifold so i could have my big turbo and a ct26 on at the same time. would be pretty badarse if you ask me.

It is two turbos run off the exhaust. Turbo only runs off exhaust. It is traditionally for twin banked engines. It is also used for staged turbos, one with low lag for off the line with another turbo to add the boost when it had spooled.

I don't see a benefit on the 3SGTE, but it would be rare.

Ya, the only thing it would help would be having a small turbo spooled off the line, anyhow it says this right on there website: "Off Road use only."

A LOT of things say off road use only. My run-of-the-mill K&N cone filter says the same thing. It's hard to judge a kit by that tag alone.

I wonder how useful this kit would be to the average tuner. There's many people who have converted their twin-turbo supras to run on one large turbo, to cut down on the lag. You could obviously only run this in a very, very high-boost situation- the lag would make it useless on the street.

But that's probably an irrelevant argument. In the right hands, you know this is going to make a monster 3SGTE. I bet you could run the Pike's hill climb on this kit.

That looks like a really bad idea. If that is a picture of the actual product, then it does not look to reduce lag at all. I just looks like two equally sized turbos being driven by 2 cylinders. Waste of weight it seems.

It would be a rarity though.

That pic above is a kit for a V6 engine.
Look at the spacing between the exhaust ports.

The one for 3sgte is a single turbo kit.
Here is a real Sard GT-Pro kit for MR2.

Seems like a waste of money and mass to me. A well-tuned single setup will do just fine.
