Interesting concept. Even tho im not crazy about that body kit i will give you A+ for keeping it clean and originallity.

BTW how did you do those taillights? I like the fact they are not Supra conversions.

Thanks - the taillights are selfmade (hella modules)

Are the housings self made too or you just customized on existing (stock) housings?

love the color scheme and how well crafted and clean all the body work is.

while the body kit ittself is a little too extreme for my tastes, I do like how you didn't half ass it and roll with those fake brake vents on the side skirts like a lot of people do.

also, is that front bumper from an mr2 kit? it looks familiar.

@extremeskillz
The housings are selfmade too from the original 5th gen. housings.

@Doctor Jinxed
Thanks, the body kit is a european standard bodykit for the t18.
Its from Pakfeifer.at / trc-tuning.de

Hey Stormy any engine pics? i see in your sig you got a "supra style" wing any more pics of that???

The kit is not my style anymore lol but over all the paint and body work is nice!

Nice too see 5th gen Celica owners all over the world!

@Joeye27

Sorry the engine-parts are under construction (no pic's at the moment).
The Wing in my Sig was my old one! But wasn't street legal in Switzerland... :(

Here are some pictures before the rebuild:

when cutting through the tail lights to make way for the custom hella lights how did you keep the glass from shattering? and also how complicated was the wiring for the new lights?

and very nice work thats a one of a kind! the rear bumper is a very tight look to the celica

that body kit looks really well done... I do think you need to lose the tails though... but awesome looking car!

wrongboy
07-10-2008, 07:36 PM
I don't know burnyd, I applaud the ability and talent to make something that we just don't have for 5th gens. Certainly this isn't meant to be an example of a pristine stock Celica but rather, a show car, so I believe that liberties like that should be taken . Well done on the custom lights!

Great ride Stormy ^^. Thx for sharing the making of the tail lights. I looked for those over the web but couldn't find them.
I love the look overall, but i never liked that front bumper.
